Review of Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) by Thomas C — 24 Dec 2017

My favorite character. The movie was fun and moto as hell. Red Skull is too important a character though to be a one off bad guy. Also thought there could have been more depth considering the war Captain America was involved in.

Also masked Hydra with super advanced weapons just was unnecessary. Considering everything we took from the Nazi's post war it's crazy to think the Hydra weaponry kinda went nowhere. I just wish it had been more gritty and shown Cap transition from the kid who wanted to sign up and do his part to a veteran who manages to remain true to himself and his beliefs.
