Review of Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) by Jack C — 24 Sep 2014

I'm a bit bored with the whole superhero movie at this point, so I went into this somewhat skeptical. With that said, it was good. The personal side of the story (the backstory on who he was, his motivations, etc.

) was good. Tommy Lee Jones did a great job playing.... Tommy Lee Jones. The love interest was a bit of a wasted character. It would have been nice if she had been a stronger character (though she was an amazing shooter in one scene).

I thought it was cute to introduce Stark Industries. It did feel like the beginning and end of the movie were kind of useless, except to set up for a sequel. Overall it was a fine movie.
