Review of Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) by Francisco Q — 05 Sep 2017
Thanks to its spetacular action scenes and construction of its main character "Captain America: The First Avenger" was a pretty good origin story for the iconic character. Chris Evans might not had been the perfect casting choice in 2011, but he would eventually prove that he had a lot to offer.
We had to wait until the next two movies. Hugo Weaving is a minimally good villain, if only his motivation was beyond power and world control, he would have been perfect. Unfortunately, the opportunity of developing Howard Stark and Peggy Carter a little more was not used, however the romance is very good.
