If you want to see a good historical movie, you can't beat this with Arag... Viggo Mortensen. Fluently (how the hell should I know though, I don't speak the language) speaking Spanish, Viggo impresses as the lead character in 16th century Spain.
Those sword classes in the beautiful New Zealand surely paid off for Viggo, who hacks and slashes his way through some mofos. But seriously, this is a good movie, and everyone interested in the time period would do well to check this out.
