Review of Capricorn One (1977) by John H — 02 Dec 2007
Influenced by the Watergate years, writer-director Peter Hyams creates a gripping tale of lies as the first ever manned mission to Mars takes place - whilst the three men concerned are in an aircraft hangar 300 miles from the launch site.
Elliott Gould is the ambitious journalist who risks his life and career to uncover the truth when his best friend, a technician at Nasa, suddenly goes missing after revealing the concerns over transmissions seemingly out of sync with the unfolding drama.
