Review of Capricorn One (1977) by Vomalfalda B — 02 Sep 2008

Really makes you think ........especially given events since the turn of the century. 1st saw this as a kid didn't understand any of it but my dad couldn't stop raving about it at the time. Fast forward a good 30 or so yrs right after the 2nd shuttle (allegedly) went down.

.....no one ever saw it, just sparks, scattered debris and what the news told us. The same news agencies & gov't that convinced us of WMD's. So, with the staggering figures allocated for such ventures aside, why would anyone be less than forthcoming regarding the space program ?? What if these ventures were really turbo charged Hollywood productions (per Wag The Dog) ?? In such case, where do all the funds actually go ? Moreover, what of the Strategic Air Command's "Vision for 2020" ??? Hmmmm.

...... All this from a lil science fiction movie from the 70s !!!
