Review of Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) by Stephen C — 04 Jul 2010
Moore reigns in some of his more publicity stunt side to deliver an interesting documentary about how capitalism has destroyed peoples lives while making others wealthy beyond our dreams.
Moore disects how the American dream has been destroyed by big banks and has left hundreds without a home .
In the film we see the chairman of a bank tell Ronald Regan to speed things up,People being labelled as peasants by large companies who pay them selves money when there workers die ,and children being detained in a private home because the Judge is bveing paid by the company.
Moore never lets up exposing the lie that capitalism has created and I personally feel that its his most interesting work as he keeps his grandstanding in check and shows he can be a film maker of maturity and interest.
