Review of Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) by James L — 03 Jan 2012
America is consumed with capitalism, but there doesn't appear to be a more fair way without removing individual rights as we presently know them. The documentary seems to refute capitalism and Moore goes to great length to support his argument and twist the story to represent the injustices he believes exist in America; and that is fine and well, but in the end, to do a documentary about the evils of American capitalism is rather incomplete, without discussing in detail, life in America before Colonialism.
That said, this is still one of Moores best films yet, and while biased; it does offer a great amount of food for thought.
