Review of Capernaum (2018) by Muguet M — 20 Dec 2018
Every child and every human being deserves a decent life with good health, education, and unconditional love. These are basic needs in life! This movie is so raw and real that shows you up close and personal the life, the hardship, and the struggle of #refugees, #workingchildren, and illegal workers. It sheds light on #humantrafficking, #trafickingchildren, and #slavery all around the world and not just in Lebanon and the Middle East. The film is excellent! It's very well done cinematographic wise. The actors are not acting, they are telling their stories and the stories of their friends and family. It is painful to see the truth, it is heartbreaking too. But better we know the truth so we can act and contribute in fixing the problem rather than just look the other way and be oblivious of what is really happening around us.
Remember to be thankful always because we are truly blessed even when going through a hard time. This movie is a harsh reminder!
