Review of Cape Fear (1991) by Aaron J — 26 Aug 2009
This is the scariest movie Ive encountered, besides the classic "IT". I think its because this is such a real film, and it could very possibly happen that it makes it that much scarier. Robert DeNiro is absolutely fantastic in this film he made the atmosphere so freaking creepy that its unbelievable.
The tension seriously doesnt let up. Also, Julliet lewis really brings out the best in this film, she is so vulnerable and innocent that it makes you want to cry when he is tricking her. Anyways, this is definitely a thriller that thrills beyond expectation.
Taut and amusing.
