Review of Cape Fear (1991) by Jamie B — 04 Feb 2014

This is one of my favourite DeNiro roles straying from sharp gangster to edgy maniac! He really put a new spin on the role originally played by Robert Mitchum. It's one of those films you forget just how violent and graphic it is until you start watching.

I like the fact that both Gregory Peck and Robert Mitchum have supporting cameo roles in the remake. It's a nice little salute to the original.
