Review of Cantinflas (2014) by Ellen C — 05 Dec 2014
There are so few films made around Latin American subjects in entertainment. This one covers background and Hollywood glam all at once, giving the audience an appetite for more. The character of Cantinflas needs much more exposure than he has ever received in the world, and this film does a good job of filling in some of the blanks for the public unfamiliar with him.
The score is fabulous, and is going on my playlist now.
