The movie is fantastic. Having grown up watching Cantinflas' original movies, Oscar Jaenada remarkably imitates every gesture and voice inflection of the late Mario Moreno. The story is so touching and it gives such insight into the rags to riches story along with the true love story. Mario's (Cantinflas) wife was a beautiful Russian woman.
The translation of the movie was so, so poor. While many of his jokes simply do no translate into English, the ones, which could have been translated, were completely ruined. If this movie was fantastic.
