Review of Candyman (1992) by Lee R — 23 Apr 2009

Its hard to believe this movie is nearly 17 years old now. It still stands up as a horror classic. Tony Todds Candyman was an instant horror movie icon. The are some great shock scenes, gotta love the scene in the shrinks office, dont think anyone saw that coming.

Also given how much shock endings are done to death in these kind of movies, the one in this film is actually pretty good. I really enjoyed this film when I saw it at the cinema and it was nice to sit and watch it all these years later and enjoy it just as much.
