Movie truly scared me up until my late teens after having first seen when I was probably 8 years old. I always think of Candyman when I go to the bathroom late at night! Aside from that, the film is studied in many film classes because the cinematography is fantastic.
Great concept for a storyline, glad no one ever dared to make a sequel for it that wasn't worthy of mention.
