One of Melissa McCarthy's best films yet in her career. The tale of a middle-aged writer who had once written a New York Times' best-seller but is now struggling to overcome a depressive episode unable to pay her rent, keep her apartment clean, and maintain relationships.
She is desperately searching for meaning and stability in her life and stumbles across an unorthodox and highly-illegal method to find back that meaning, while also being able to again afford to take care of herself.
