This film was decent. The script and directing are very linear and not that innovative but Melissa McCarthy gives a strong and genuine performance. She will probably be nominated. In general the performances are very good but the film falls short.

Surprise it has such a high rating. This film is a B+. Worth seeing but feels a bit dated in its approach. It won?t age well as piece of art but the story is very interesting it has some insightful and poignant moments.
