Review of Cam (2018) by Amadouiraklidis — 28 Oct 2022

Really good movie. Particularly good because it touches on a topic that not many other movies touch on-- the world of social media streamers, particularly in a candid, non-laborious manner. It's an intriguing story, with well-defined characters. The anxiety the main actress displayed was both exactly what I'd expect from someone in that world and not what other movies have effectively portrayed.

The ending was a bit unclear, but it doesn't matter much.

Again, it's hard to elucidate how good of a job this movie did at portraying the internet-sphere of entertainment, while combining it with elements of a whodunnit mystery.
