Review of Cam (2018) by Mike A — 24 Nov 2018
The main actress did a good job with the screenplay she had to work with (And yes, she's hot and would make an amazing web cam gal, not that I watch that stuff) but things didn't always make sense.
Once she realized she had a double, and then her mom found out she was in this line of work, any normal person would immediately tell her about the double. In fact she'd tell EVERYBODY. Yes, she told a couple of her webcam friends but their reaction didn't make sense either.
They kind of shrugged it off. And the cops? This is the kind of thing you would go to the FBI about, or at least a police detective. The resolution wan't terribly satisfying either. How did she know smashing her face would make the double smash her face too? Anyway, it was good premise but the execution needed some work for sure.
