This film is all the good things heaped upon it by the other reviews but I still found it to be patterned after a Euro Film which to me means - long, slow and boring. The lingering looks were just T O O L O N G.
..the scenes pulled out like toffee. It was for me the longest lovely to look at cinematic movie of the year that seemed like it ran four hours..it was in reality just over 2 but seemed like four.
