I want to see all the 2018 Best Picture nominees, and while I otherwise might've passed on this film, I have to say that it's absolutely deserving of the praise it's receiving. After last year's underwhelming "Moonlight," I was afraid this could be another political nod.
Not at all. Well acted. Beautifully filmed. Emotionally moving. It may not be my cup of tea in some ways, but I can't say anything but good things about it. Well, I could've done without the peach.
