Honestly I don't even know where to start! The costumes,soundtracks,screenplay...So simple yet so beautiful. You can literally taste the "Frenchness" in the movie. I'm glad that they didn't spoil everything with a cliche coming out scene. No matter how hard I try to understand the difficulty about coming out while you're living in a society full of crap,I just can't. People gonna be people and they will keep doing the same things they do for god knows how long. So I'm seriously glad that they didn't make it about this twisted society. I'm glad that they didn't give any credits to these douchebags.

Although the fiction has some gaps I guess I like the movie. ***SPOILER*** When I was half of the movie I believed them and with that kind of feelings they can get through it all, but well, they didn't. They didn't fight for each other, fight for their love because there isn't one, at least for Oliver. This isn't something I can accept as love. I've been thinking like "Aww it's a skinny love!" Which means -in modern-tech world- when two people are in love with each other but too shy or can't own their love for some other reason. But unfortunately there was only one person who's in love.

I hate,I mean with all my heart and soul hate the fact that Oliver got engaged. Because that way I felt cheated,I felt cheated because you can't tell someone you love him/her and act like you mean it in summer and then get engaged by winter. This is hypocrisy!

But I guess all those bullshits are the reasons why I like that movie. Because life isn't a fairytale and no one gets their happy endings. Friends stab you in the back, people you care about die, you go crazy because you can't handle it anymore but worst of all; you fall in love. Because love is an illusion and people always leave, especially the ones you make you believe that they will stay. You don't need words to make promises. Actions speak louder than words.

That's why I like and hate that movie at the same time. Because it was more than a movie. It was a story of someone who's seeking someone to love and be loved by.
