Timothee Chalamet delivers an extraordinary performance in "Call Me by Your Name", a deeply moving love story. Luca Guadagnino's latest film is a gorgeous coming-of-age story that is beautifully shot, powerfully acted and sharply written.
It is not easy to adapt a beloved novel to the big-screen, but the director pulls this off with ease. With the help of a talented cast, he has crafted an unforgettable film about a gay romance. It is honest, authentic and grounded in reality that is rare to see in films nowadays.
Although the film suffers slightly from an overlong running time, it is hard to not be swept away by "Call Me by Your Name". At a time when gay love stories are a rarity in Hollywood, films like this deserve to be seen and celebrated.
