Review of Caligula (1979) by Jason S — 11 Jul 2007

A long, borderline pornographic (okay, it IS pornographic), mostly accurate account of Rome's most notorious emperor. His rise to power and his stint there prove to be a truly violent time for Rome, as anyone who opposes him or his perverted ways is summarily killed.

I would suggest first reading or researching Emperor "Little Boots" before seeing this movie, as doing so will provide you some insight into his reign and maybe get you to question why they opted for more orgy scenes in this movie rather than Caligula's atrocities.

..although there is plenty of both.
