Review of Caligula (1979) by Trevor C — 04 Jan 2010

Though i'm sure they were trying to make this into something controversially awesome like A Clockwork Orange or If..., they failed conclusively. this film only succeeds in being annoyingly weird and showing nudity whenever they feel it possible (not that the nudity was all that bad, but still).

I understand that Caligula was an insane emperor in real life, but they could have shown the experiences he had rather than just the things he did.
