Review of Cairo Time (2009) by Diana T — 27 Dec 2010
I bought this on DVD. The Egyptian music is wonderful. The romance is charming. The scenery is interesting. The Egyptian culture is interesting. This is a complete escapist movie. It's a subtle study of a woman's emotions.
The star is believable in her behavior. She has a great personality. It's a moral story. What a nice way to spend some time. It's like a travelogue. I'm not sure why the single guy is hanging out with a married woman, who will go home, after they fall for each other, never to see him again.
Is he a man who can't commit, and is just happy with whatever time a woman is willing to give?
