Review of Cahill: United States Marshal (1973) by Ed A — 27 Jan 2010
Not the best of John Wayne's later works, however, I enjoyed the concept of the 'bank robbery whilst being in prison' & the acting from the big fella in a couple of scenes is probably amongst his best.
The casting of a female lead, I thought, was rather pointless as she neither added to the plot or gave the story any additional emotional depth. I didn't rate the lad who played the youngest son much, either.
Overall, so-so.
