Review of Café Society (2016) by Tim B — 06 Aug 2016
I think Woody Allen might have found himself in Jesse Eisenberg. You can see the similarities in the young, Jewish smarter than thou characters and the neurotic mannerisms. Cafe Society is a decent movie for movie lovers.
It will mean nothing to average watchers and it's certainly not amongst the Woodman's best ones. However for a summer filled with explosions, a little 30's Hollywood nostalgia never hurt anyone.
