Review of Caddyshack (1980) by Steven S — 05 Jul 2009
One of the all time classic movies. It can be very cheesy and corny sometimes, but that's what makes this one so great. It's the comedy movie that you'll never forget, and you'll be talking about this movie for the rest of you life either reciting lines or reminiscing about scenes.
The movie really shines based on its cast. The supporting actors and even the main actors really do well. The movie falls on the shoulders of three comedians. Chevy Chase is one of them that really makes it worthwhile. The two I really loved in it are Rodney Dangerfield and Bill Murray. Rodney is great because he's Rodney Dangerfield. Bill Murray is rumored to have ad-libbed all of his lines and some of the scenes he was in.
Of course, this movie also have to give credit to its director, Harold Ramis. Fans of the Ghostbusters know him as Egon. Ramis may not be the most artistic director of all time, but his comedic timing is impeccable for this movie.
