Review of Caddyshack (1980) by Russell G — 08 Dec 2011
This movie is an absolute classic and one of my favorite movies ever made. There are so many funny scenes and good lines, small lines and rich things going on in the background. Jokes in the movie are timeless and it makes you laugh with a variety of comedic approaches.
Chevy Chase and his sarcasm, Bill Murray's goofy slapstick, Rodney Dangerfield's little one-liners, and Ted Knight as the snotty straight man were simply perfect together. The plot takes a back seat because this movie really thrives on letting the funny characters and their good chemistry become the focus.
