Review of Caddyshack (1980) by Slarti B — 19 Jan 2010
Am I going to have to strangle somebody?
Why the fuck does Caddyshack, potentially one of the top 10 comedies in history, only have a 76% freshness rate?
Don't even try to argue with me here. If you don't like Caddyshack, nay, if you don't love Caddyshack, you and I will never agree on anything, so us interacting is pointless. Just rant to yourself, like me.
Anyway, Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield, and Chevy Chase all deliver career performances, and I love this movie more than some people in my family.
There has never been a moment in my life where I wasn't in the mood for Caddyshack. I've heard people call it a sports movie and had to ridicule them for being stupid. It's a pure comedy. A golf course was just where they filmed it.
Watch Caddyshack. If it doesn't make you laugh, give up on laughing and your life.
