Review of Cactus Flower (1969) by Marina N — 21 May 2011
Watched "Just go with it" a couple of weeks ago and accidentally found out that "Cactus Flower" had an almost identifical story. Had to watch it - and it's worth all your time. This movie didn't lose it's charm and wits although it was released more than 40 years ago.
It has heart and soul - something that modern romcoms clearly lack. It was the first movie starring Ingrid Bergman that I have seen and she totally blew me away. Also, in my opinion, Goldie Hawn has never been better.
A lost gem.
