Such a fantastic gem! Eddie Anderson is disarmingly charming and Lena Horne plays the vamp to perfection. And, of course, there is nothing that can compare to the onscreen brilliance of Ms. Ethel Waters.
One of my favorite moments is when Petunia tarts it up in an homage to Waters' raunchy vaudeville days.And the supporting roles by Rex Ingram, Mantan Moreland, Butterfly McQueen, and Louis Armstrong are marvelous.
