Review of Cabin Fever (2003) by Jonathan P — 16 Nov 2010
There's something to be said about the innovative horror genre that Eli Roth has seemingly invented out of thin air. We all are scared of torture and violence, which is exemplified in Roth's later film Hostel.
This is more like a dumbed down version along with the precondition of a biological disease, and mass panic. It's Dawn of the Dead with chainsaws. Basically just annoying, it's still something new to a medium that'll never die out.
