Review of Cabin Fever (2003) by Mason D — 12 May 2012
What makes Cabin Fever such a unique film is that they take the usual cliche of a group of young people spending the weekend in the woods only to end up getting killed and make the killer a flesh eating virus instead of a masked killer.
Rider Strong (Boy Meets World) is our "hero", but his actions are far from heroic. The weekend starts of with him thinking he's going to get laid and he ends up watching his friends die one by one.
Things thake a huge tonal shift when he ends up facing off against a small group of hill billies, but it's all in the name of fun. Invite some friends over, open up a few cold ones, and enjoy the show.
