Review of Cabin Fever (2003) by Nick N — 26 Oct 2012
This was original and I had never seen a movie where we had a flesh-eating virus causing all the trouble for the group of college students staying at a cabin in the woods. But still something was bound to happen, college kids in the woods.
So, it's some kind of break, I forget what they were out for but they decide to go a cabin they rented for the weekend and party hard. But without knowing it, a flesh-eating virus has tainted their water supply and soon, the first symptoms begin to show.
Now as paranoia spreads through the group, not knowing which one has got it, they start to turn on each other. While this movie offers some interesting premises and a kinda-sorta original story. It still has it's faults.
Some characters were put in here for no apparent reason and some could be a little annoying at times. The gore in this movie delivered on high levels though. Most of the main characters were believable in their parts and I liked them, well until they died at least.
So, even though this was a decent movie, I'm only giving it a 3/5.
