Review of Cabin Fever (2003) by Josh L — 26 Sep 2014
Cabin Fever unabashedly gives in to all of the horror genre's conventions and the result is an entertaining diversion, but nothing special. It's neither scary or very interesting thanks to bad acting and writing, but can sometimes be funny because of this.
Other times I just wanted to punch people in the face for their sheer stupidity. All of this should come as no surprise if you are a fan of the genre. It's plenty gory and one scene in particular will stick with me for awhile.
If you just want an old-fashioned horror film that has some positives and most of the negatives of the horror genre, give this a whirl. Otherwise I wouldn't really bother.
