Review of Cabin Fever (2003) by Brandon W — 22 Nov 2015
I don't really know what to expect of this before watching it as I've heard a lot about Eli Roth, but never watched his films. So now is the time for me to watch his films, and Cabin Fever is a bit of a medicare start however.
I didn't really get scared, but just find it disgusting to watch. The effects look really good, and the acting is good, although not special at all. The characters are bland, and you just don't care about them.
Some of them are complete jerks, and some of them are pointless and were just there to die. The plot is a bit interesting, but some of the questions were not answered and instead answer questions that the viewers already know.
Some of the humor did get a laugh out of me, and some did not so and acted as very awkward. The writings a bit odd at times, and just didn't seem to work to me. Cabin Fever could've been so much better as the premise could've worked, but I can sort of understand why this has a cult following.
