Review of Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever (2009) by Jason C — 03 Jul 2010

This is one of those movies that is so bad it's good. It's the most entertaining movie with the word cabin in it that doesn't actually have a cabin IN it that I've ever seen. The final cut was so bad, as it turns out, that the director, Ti West, asked to have his name removed from the movie. Once the producers and editors got done with it, West said it was nothing he wanted to be considered responsible for.

Rider Strong was in Cabin Fever 2, and his part lasted through the grabber. Noah Segan was alright as the lead, but there isn't anything else to say about him. Alexi Wasser is beautiful. Tall and thin, just how I like. She's a standard actress. Good acting for a B movie. I don't know what that says about her acting overall.

There is plenty of gore, a cheesy story (what little there is), and mediocre acting. Fantastic. It's a wonderful little B movie that all true horror fans should watch just for a laugh.
