Review of Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever (2009) by Ian P — 24 Feb 2010
I have to say I was not a fan of the original at all but I was hoping for a little more from a new cast and a different vision from Ti West.
It has a few moments of pure goodness like some blackly funny gory/gross scenes and I loved that they used the disco song from the original 'Prom Night' but overall the film has no point or momentum.
I blame Lionsgate moreso than West since he tried to have his name removed and replaced with the unhappy director standard 'Alan Smithee' so that does make me curious to see what his true vision could have possibly brought to improve this dreck.
