Not the worst movie ever made. There are some scenes in this movie that almost work. Mostly it is a curiosity. I can see why they would ask Tim Burton to direct (who wisely turned it down but offered to produce the movie) as it has all the weird and quirky elements to constitute a potential Tim Burton film.
But at this time he was still too smart to turn to self parody.
