Review of Cabaret (1981) by Walter C — 30 Mar 2010
Michael York is an english writer who rooms in the same house as Liza Minnelli who wants to be a famous actress. She works at the Kit Kat Klub singing songs. During their relationship, the Nazis are slowly taking over society.
Joel Grey as the master of ceremonies at the cabaret club is awesome. Also, the movie deals with stuff I wasn't expecting it to deal with since it feels like a typical musical. I was pleasantly shocked.
Wasn't a huge fan of Liza Minnelli although it would be tough for me to say that she didn't do a great job.
