Byzantium is an adult vampire story about the relationship between a mother and a daugther. It is incredibly well told, with a big attention putted into the details, visually it looks very good, stylish direction adds to the quality and feel of the film.
Gemma Arterton and Saoirse Ronan are great in their roles and manage to convince. Not only Byzantium is a one of a kind vampire movie, it's quite thought provoking too. There is a deep message hidden in the film, but to completely understand it, it might take multiple viewings of this movie.
Really impressed.
