Totally unlike "Interview with the Vampire" and a bit like "Twilight" for grownups. Saoirse Ronan succeeds in portraying a 200 year old teenager and Gemma Arterton is luminous in her role as an even older fallen woman.
Caleb Landry Jones is haunting as Frank and I found I cared about the characters. The movie is not formulaic and has good internal consistency. Definitely worth watching and very satisfying.
