Review of By the Sea (2015) by Luna R — 21 Nov 2015

I just saw a great movie. It was the Brad Pitt + Angelina Jolie film which she wrote and directed. I thought it was very good and knew what to expect from her and this film. I like how she was influenced by 1960's-era european films, which she well incorporated in By The Sea.

Not very much dialogue (which I liked), however there were some parts where I was kinda bored and wanted the couple in the film to move-on-with-it. Plus, some parts were a little strange, but that's Angelina for you.

Being a filmmaker, I understood her point of view. And thought it was very beautiful. I hope to make something like this one day. Which I surprising to say, I don't like Angelina's film's in the past at all.

But, this is by far, her best. I suggest going into it with an open mind and heart.
