Review of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) by Phil S — 29 Jul 2009
Superb three leads, gorgeous shots and usage of color, fantastic score, an ingenious and hilarious script, and overall a very humble and damn enjoyable humanist piece of film.
I guess at the time it was released these outlaws were exactly what the world wanted in their silver screen protagonists, and I can't find one single thing to complain about in regard to their chemistry or camaraderie. Or most any other facet of the film, for that matter.
Redford's mustache was nice.
