Great western with a few minor problems. I did not like the music in the film....well I liked the music I just did not feel like it lent itself well to this film. I beleive that period pieces should not include pop culture music of the time in which the film was made.
I also wanted to see them meet there demise. Although that would have been hard to do at the time I suppose. Other then that the film is a masterpiece. Robert Redford and Paul Newman have great chemistry.
The gun fights are great, and overall its a wonderful classic.
