Review of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) by Ryan Gibbons — 26 Sep 2010
This is a very reluctant 4 stars. I do not care for Robert Redford nor the Newman and Redford duo. Any film with the song Raindrops keep falling on my head should be seriously evaluated. This film has scenes that are longer than they need to be, it is very poorly lit when they are indoors, I don't know if they filmed on location but if they did not then the sets are terrible.
The acting is generic, Redford looks tough enough I guess. Not that impressive, but it's a pretty good story.
