Review of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) by Bill B — 11 Sep 2011

Considering this is based on a true story this is too funny and too clean ( and whose idea was it to put Burt Bacherach in a western?!), but the film is a colourful and entertaining film built upon the sturdy foundation of the terrific chemistry between Redford and Newman, their exchanges are at times laugh out loud funny and the stunt work is incredible at the beginning and the cinematography at the end is nothing short of legendary. a film that is both before its time and past its time with music that is of its time.

And another thing who the hell would buy a bike in the old west? that is so not the replacement for a horse!
