Review of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) by Hardeep P — 12 Apr 2012
A great look at two talented, likeable and shrewd outlaws; full of witty dialogues and exciting action/chase sequences. Pacing issues and minor flaws are taken care of by some good acting and powerful script. A quintessential buddy film, the way Butch & Sundance work together and that's what drives the movie.
Watch it if you are a fan of westerns or just good movies. A funny, exciting and superbly made with a lot of silent scenes and a montage of photographs too! A few memorable scenes & remarkable music, specially the song: ~Raindrops keep falling on my head~! The movie's ending- the famous freeze frame- is so perfect too!
